A recipe from Erin French. Simple ingredients, but seasonal fresh ingredients which makes for a delicious and fresh soup, with a brightness of flavor for a cold night.
A fresh, interactive salad board where guests customize their own Cobb and top it with grilled shrimp, steak, chicken, or lobster. A hit at my summer cocktail “board parties,” perfect for relaxed mingling and easy entertaining.
Flaky puff pastry shells filled with bright lemon curd and topped with fresh berries and mint. Light, refreshing, and the perfect palate cleanser after a rich meal.
Chez Shay Supper Club began in 2022 as a simple (and slightly daring) idea: inviting guests into my home to share a thoughfully prepared, home-cooked meal. What started as a passion project has grown into a monthly gathering, welcoming 16-24 guests for an intimate five-course, seated dining experience.
Each supper club is built around a theme, inspired by a country, a beloved holiday, or the flavors of the season. In the summer, we dine al fresco beneath the Tuscan pergola near my gardens. In the winter months, suppers are held indoors by candlelight
Cooking classes are the newest addition to the Chez Shay experience — and they’re designed to be just as warm, welcoming, and delicious as our supper club dinners. These hands-on classes give you the chance to step into the kitchen, learn new techniques, and create incredible dishes from scratch. You’ll work in small groups, enjoy a relaxed and social atmosphere, and leave with new skills, full recipes, and maybe even a few leftovers to savor later.
